Hi!
I noticed that Wittner has a sale out on the Lossau book Movie camera/Filmkameras 16mm - 9,5mm - 8mm - Single-8 - Super-8. But I also see that Lossau has an other book The Complete Catalog of Movie Cameras for 49,95 euro (including shipping) from Atoll Medien. Has any one seen both books, and ...

Re: Your Agfa 200D results
The Agfa 200D has good colors, better than ektachrome 64T, in my opinion. But the film is very grainy. If I shoot an other 200D, I will try to expose it as 100 iso and then do a pull processing since I now develop the films my self. Might give better result exposed as 100 iso, particularly if you ...

Re: The possible RETURN of KODAK EXR, KODAKCHROME and other
Well, this is a great idea! If we here on this forum for example would to get together and order film directly from Kodak we could get it much cheaper than from a retailer. And they would make the films just for us which means that you would always get fresh film stock. Keep up the good work Kodak ...

Re: kodak bankrupt
Digital photo/film making is dead! It has always been and will be a dead format (or format it's not a format it's just made out of air).
I will celebrate the 80th year anniversary of 8mm this year and also celebrate the next 80 glorious years in celluloid film making!

Re: Point of emulating Super 8 imperfections
Those how think they are making their video look old style has obviously never even seen a real movie on film. In this video every third second is some kind of over exposure blemish and what looks like some sort of light leaks on the film. It is true what you say that is would look a lot better ...

Re: Lomography introduces handcranked 35mm Lomokino Movie Ca
OK, it's an interesting idea that I welcome, everything that someone is willing to produce that use chemical film is a good thing. However I feel that this particular camera could be modified in a number of way to make it just a little bit better, as it is now I think it's just a sill camera that ...

Re: Are you also collecting super 8mm packed films?
I first started shooting Super 8. When I began using ebay a few years back began buying Super 8 prints of among others Disney Cartoons from the UK to show on my Super 8 sound projector. And now I actually have more Super 8 and Standard 8 films as package movies than I have of films that I've made ...

Re: Fomapan in Super 8 cartridges?
Hello!
Well it might look like it would come true: Fomapan in Super 8 cartridges. This is a link to Wittner's website: http://www.wittner-kinotechnik.de/neu/news2011.php#20111011-1
From what I understand Wittner is asking if there would be an interest to have Fomapan in Super 8 cartridges and they ...

Re: Great News! You don't have to shoot film anymore!
It's weird how people that uses digital would want to mess up their films like this. And it seems like the users of digital would like that their films gets older during the years. A digital film will look just as good as it look today as it will hundred years from now, or alternative, you wont be ...

Terve Mikko!
I also have a Weblinger striping machine and several hundreds meter of sound stripes. I have never used it as I bought it as a collectible item. Still would be interesting to hear from you when you have tried it with Ektachrome if I would ever use mine. I have however been thinking of ...

Re: Is DSLR the terminator for super 8 and 16mm?
Without reading trough this whole discussion, I would just like to say a few things about digital vs. film: Digital film making is not cheep for amateurs.
The costs are just allocated on different thing. Ok, the film making itself does not cost anything if you shoot on a memory card or hard drive ...

Re: Fomapan in Super 8 cartridges?
A lovely stock, and knowing Foma I bet they would re-introduce it if the base becomes available again.
Let's hope so. I can't find Fomapan R on the Foma web page under products any more. Kodak Tri-X is just to high speed and grainy to be used for double 8 cameras with the smallest f-stop of f/16 ...
