Re: Film
Cost? The lab I found charges $15 a roll plus $10 shipping. It's designed for someone who's sending an entire feature film worth of super8 cartridges. Other than that the only lab I found processes in an immersion tank on a per demand basis (4 months). Does anyone know of any US based Super 8 ...

Re: Soundstriping.
I've heard of some companies willing to soundstripe but will not take small orders. Are you looking to soundstripe unexposed filmstock or processed prints?

Re: Film
I have shot with B+W films and the problem has been processing. Dwayne's photo doesn't do B+W. I would have to do it myself, which I plan to do, but that's another story. If I buy bricks of super 8 from B&H would that be cheaper?

Re: How to get stills on moviefilm
Traditionally you use something called a copystand. you mount the camera on the stand and place a picture or title card on it and using macro or close focusing photograph the item. you can always just put the camera on a tripod and point some lights at an 8x10 photograph.

What is the cheapest super 8 film around? I don't really care if it's short dated.

Reflex Viewfinder Metering
So I own a Bell and Howell 670 XL which I destroyed trying to modify it to max 8 and a Braun 105 XL S which contrary to every source I've seen seems to have a 24 FPS setting (perhaps a post production mod?). Anyways, the first thing I noticed both when trying to film indoors and in the poorly ...

Re: Reloadable film cartridge
Thank you all for your replies. First, converting anything, however reasonably priced, from euros to dollars with international shipping comes out ugly. Plus, they're the kodapacks with plastic plates. I'm going with the Kaccemas.
