Kodak 7276 (PX 464) Processing

It has been a while since I shot any real FILM. A good friend has offered me about 30 carts of the old stock Kodak Super8 B&W 7276 Plus-X (PX 464) reversal film for free. It has been sitting in his fridge for a few years and his wife wants the vegetable bin back ! He told me he isn't sure if anyone ...

I just use the film that comes in the cameras I buy off ebay. Then, when the film runs out, I have an excuse to buy another camera. Is there another way?

Sadly, I most relate to the above quote  .

More seriously ? I also like the smell that follows after carefully opening the foil pack. I ...

Hi,
I have miles of movies my dad shot during the nineteen fifties; all were shot with a three lens Brownie, and they still look beautiful. I have that camera now and make my own films with it once in a while 8) , brownies are cheap and simple. Do what your budget allows. However, when you consider ...

If you underexpose a little on each half and shoot a roll twice it makes the most interesting effect. People ski and sun on beaches at the same time etc. I've transferred some done that way and believe me it really holds your attention.

Michael

So I should underexpose a bit on both ...

You might want to check out a Regular 8mm Bell & Howell 414PD, aka the Zapruder camera. They come fairly cheap on ebay and it would make a Kool conversation piece.

Yes the Minolta is nice. In fact it is the only Super8 Camera I actually use these days. If you have the $$$ the Canon is a fine camera, as posted earlier finding an 814 is always an option at a better price. I recently sold an 814 to a friend for $100.00 US. Kind of sorry that I did now, good ...

Nah, not Don't Look Back but this one:

Bob Dylan - World Tour 1966: The Home Movies

The drummer for Dylan and The Band on that tour (Mickey Jones) shot most of the footage.

If you also like Johnny Rivers, Jones played drums for him before joining Dylan and includes some of the home movies he ...

In a pinch recently I found that the following will work. Yes, I know it is a microphone. All one has to do on a 814 E Auto Zoom is plug the mic into the remote socket (it fits). Turn the switch on the mic to off. Set the 814 up in single frame mode. Every time you switch the mic from off to on ...

Masked and Anonymous

Masked and Anonymous is a new film starring music legend Bob Dylan. I saw it tonight (me and three other people in the entire theater) :) . I wont even go into the particulars of the movie itself except to say that if you are a Dylan fan you will probably like it if not I don't know. In this film ...

I have almost the same problem when trying to run fomapan in my Bolex P1. Yep, the Kodak stuff is fine. I have filmed with fomapan in two different different Bell & Howell cameras and achieved decent results. I love the way the shadows look with it. However, I do have three boxes of "test" film as ...
