Uploading super 8

Hi,

I've got a short film that i shot on super8 that i've finished editing and i'm wanting to upload it. The last time i uploaded some miniDV stuff onto youtube it looked worse than crap. What's the best way to go about uploading it so it looks half decent?

Cheers

Super8 telecine

Hi guys,

Now that Blue Audio Visual has shut up shop, is there anywhere else i can get my kodachrome telecined? I left my details with the guys when i phoned because apparently one of the lads is taking up those responsibilities himself but i haven't heard anything back.

Any suggestions?

Super 8 cart left in camera still useable?

Quick question - i shot half a cartridge of ektachrome and left it in the camera. It's been a couple of weeks so is it useless to try shoot the rest?

Quick question

Finally, finally trying out my super 8mm for the first time. Very quick question - the nizo 148 manual says that 18fps is "normal" speed - this can't be correct right? I thought 24fps was normal?

Interesting cinema timeline

A brief history of time. One that backs up my point that Hugh Grant can be blamed for alot of the evils of new cinema

Thanks for the info guys! To be honest the sunlight coming through blue might not be such an issue. It's supposed to be a fairly melancholy scene so i suppose i could roll with that angle.

Poster boards and foil i will try however - it's not to most open of rooms but im shure there's a shot in ...

Indoor scene

So i'm just about on the verge of firing up my super8 for the first time. I've storyboarded out a short i'm going to make - most of which i'm going to shoot outdoors with ektachrome 64T.

I've got a few shots that i need to do indoors however. One of a bedroom with sunlight coming in through the ...

also one final question:

I've been reading the nizo compact series probably won't expose the ektachrome 64t properly. Though it's a bit of a sketchy answer. Is that right?

I was thinking of ordering some ektachrome 64T as i was wanting to do some outside shooting - preferably on a sunny day for ...

indeed

couldn't agree more. Cloverfield almost made me sick. I'm not so sure it's to do with age, i'm a young buck (21) and i love movies. I'd say my favourite is 2001: a space odyssey. I have tried to make some of my friends watch it to little avail - they mostly get bored and stop paying attention.

I'm ...

A little help?

Here's the lo-down:

I've shot a few shorts for my showreel to get into uni to do film (i've just done a masters in chemistry and found that it bored me shitless.) I've always loved film.

The shorts that i've shot have been with a friend - one using a pretty cheap digital handheld which came out ...
