Filmshooting

alright thanks for the help! since ive never done any shooting with film, only digital, what are some tricks and usefull info i should know?

what frame rate should i shoot at? i would think 24 but the manual says 16, what are the advantages and what characteristics of the different frame rates?
and where is a good place to get it transfered? thanks!

also i was wondering if anyone can give me some tips for shooting, like anything i should know about the 1014xls, how to set it up best, and since im filming almost always during the day outside is there anything that i should know to help get the best picture?

hey, so i just recently bought a super 8 camera, a canon 1014xls. it came with 5 kodachrome 40 cartriges, the only thing is that it says develop before 2006 on the package for all of them.
so i was wondering if it would still be ok to use the film, or am i out of luck?
