I've cleaned the rubber discs with alcohol, now projection & sound are fine.

Hello,
I've a Bell & Howell super 8mm Filmosound 488 with a problem, when you run the movie (18 fps) the projection it is a little bit in slow motion also the sound is slow.
I would like to know if there is a DIY solution for this. Thanks, Adrian

A few years back I had a job where I commuted between McAllen and Reynosa a couple of times a year

-many good times, I hope to go back again some day. It's easy to want to go right now when they keep mentioning snow in the forecast.

Is this a new problem or have you just brought the projector ...

All the films tested were commercial prints: Star Wars, Close Encounters of the third kind & Battlestar Galactica, all the films are in 18 fps with exception of Galactica this one is in 24 fps.

If I switch the selector to 24 fps the projection is even slower.

All the above films run well in ...

B&H Filmosound 488 projector slow motion and sound

Hello,
