Re: Bell & Howell Audio Cable Format- Smaller than 1/4"?

Re: Bell & Howell Audio Cable Format- Smaller than 1/4"?
Thanks for the response!
Very highly possible it's a bantam jack. I'm not sure the exact measurement size of a bantam cable, but looking at pictures online it looks highly plausible, if it is as you say, slightly smaller than 1/4".
Both my amp and speaker box have the jacks in them, so I wouldn't ...

Bell & Howell Audio Cable Format- Smaller than 1/4"?
I've got a Bell & Howell 16mm Filmosound Projector that looks pretty much identical to the model in this film:

Re: Making a Super-8 Print
My understanding of how it's done is pretty basic, but if it were an issue of negatives/positives could one not simply make a negative from my positive, and then make a positive from that?
Or alternatively, I've heard they simply run the film one on top of the other through a machine while exposing ...

Making a Super-8 Print
I have a 50ft reel of super-8 Tri-X film (reversal) which I need to get a print made of so I have a second copy.
I'm going to be looping it through a projector and want to have a second copy incase there's any issues with the first either in splicing or extended playing of it.
Suggestions of where ...

Take Up Reels
I'm in need of a super 8 / 8mm take up reel. Big enough for at least 50 metres of film.
Anyone know a good place to order from? (aside from ebay).

Re: Cavalier Super 8?
Got the new battery and I'm able to change the F-stop when turning the dial on manual, but on Auto it just stays red. Would it be common for the F-stop to just not show, or is it most possible automatic light reading is done for this camera and only manual works now? (Or is it also highly possible ...

I just tried advancing it by hand and it wouldnt budge, then the center piece started to spin freely and the film wouldnt advance. i hear a tiny rattle when i shake the cartridge.

Re: Jammed Cartridge
Thanks Richard.
I guess I may give up on this cartridge as suggested. Maybe I'll think of something creative to do with the other half, the first half has some of my cousins wedding on it so I'd still like to get the roll processed.
Anyone have any fun ideas of what to do with some super-8 film ...

Cavalier Super 8?
I recently bought a Cavalier Super-8 camera (for next to nothing) but am looking for more information on it. There's no model number and not much about it on super8wiki.
When I switch the light meter to 'auto' and look through the viewfinder, there's no indication of how much light there is. And ...

Jammed Cartridge
I had an earlier post about my camera not being able to advance my film properly. After trying the same cartridge out in another camera, I'm starting to think it's an issue with the cartridge. I also tried advancing the film by hand a few frames and it seems very stiff (though I've never advanced ...

Film Not Advancing in Camera?
I have a Chinon 806 SM/Direct Sound Super 8 camera which I've successfully shot one cartridge of super-8 film on so far. Now that I was at a wedding shooting my second cartridge the film doesn't seem to be advancing properly. In the viewfinder at the top when the film is normally advancing there's a ...
