Hey,
Thanks for watching. It was shot in Bow Brickhill woods near Milton Keynes in the UK. It's such a great location as it's totally different in the summer and incredibly beautiful in the autumn.
Each to his own I guess about the sameyness... but part of the video was to keep it simple, it was ...

B&W Super 8 Music Video
Hey,
If anyone is interested this is a music video I shot recently for my band Final Clearance. I shot it with a Canon 1014-XLS on both Plus-X and Tri-X film. The telecine was by SuperSens in Amsterdam. It took them a while due various issues, but they did a great job!

Re: Canon 1014 Counter Problem
Hi,
New development. Turns out it was not the counter that was broken. Film was not running through the camera like I thought. So I had someone look at it and it would appear that the nylon strips that turn the gears in the camera are shredded.
The guy I spoke to says thats it, there is nothing I ...

Canon 1014 Counter Problem
Hi,
Sorry to have to post this, I've done a search but can't quite get the answer.
I have a Canon 1014 Electronic that has been working brilliantly for me. However on my last shoot a Vision2 cartridge jammed on me and since then the counter on the side won't turn when I press the trigger.

Sync Sound Question
I've had a search but can't find anything conclusive. I'm looking to shoot a music video with a band.
I'm wondering if it would be possible to shoot on super 8 and sync it up to the sound on the record. I would like to have the band playing along to the track for most of the video, so its quite ...

Vision 2 Process Problem
Hi,
Part of me is hoping I'm being incredibly naive here but...
I shot a reel of processed paid Vision 2 from the Widescreen Centre in London with my Canon 1014 Electronic. I got it back this morning and when I put it in my projector all the footage was negative.
Never had this problem before, I ...

Super 8 In Live Music Venue
Hi,
I'll be shooting a music video next month and I was wondering whether anyone knows how well Super 8 will work in a dark music venue lit only by stage lights?
I assume I'd have to use either 200T or 500T Kodak Vision 2 stock?
Thanks for any help, please excuse any ignorance from my newbieness ...
