He will, since he'll have to score on video. In order to keep the time accurancy, you'll have to do a 3:2 pulldown ...

There's one in Paris called Laboratoire Daems. They do great job with Super8 ...

if you're doing a "pro" telecine at let's say filmteknik, you'll earn the extra euros back in no time if the reels are joined already. you can do it yourself but that will introduce even more dust which i can assure you will be visible unless you clean it.

I actually tried to put a super8 film on my enlarger but because the light didn't concentrate enough on such a small area, I could not even see the picture on it.
