Trouble with Canon 1014 manual aperture

I have a Canon 1014 (NOT XL) in GREAT condition. everything works great but for the most part I am unable to use the manual aperture. I pull the knob out and the aperture is supposed to open all the way to 1.4 but it stays at 32. I have gotten it to work a few times but no real cause for it starting ...

well they are 40/50 asa rated, but you are supposed to expose them at 100asa because the new chemicals push the film to 100.

The guy who sold them to me (I haven't gotten them in the mail yet) said they expired 9/06. Was it that short time ago they changed over? If so I would imagine they would be ...

Advice on shooting expired plus-x

I recently got seven rolls of plus-x (old #7276). Not sure if they were ever refrigerated. I know you should expose it at 100ASA but any tips on what else might make it look decent. Over it under exposing further?

Thanks

I am getting a lower end bolex 625xl and a YASHICA 60 E, possibly a working EMDEKO EM 8000 was thrown in too. I plan on trying out a few of them. seeing what I like ...

I think thats the problem. Some of the features really aren't labeled on this camera as they are on others. There seems to be 4 stops in the speed switch (as I feel 4 clicks) but there is only supposed to be two speeds. Also the exposure dial, I think thats what it is (not really labeled), says "A ...

Looking for info on DeJur Electra 300 Super 8mm camera

I had the good fortune to purchase a new in box DeJur Electra 300 Super 8 camera with projector and film light. Yeah I know lucky me. Literally everything was included but the manual for the camera. If any of you have one of these and could answer a few questions or have a copy of the manual you ...
