minidisc sound

Hi
a quick question to anyone who knows.
If I was to record sound on my portable minidisc how then am I best getting that sound onto my computer with the least amount of loss of quality?

actually I thought I'd just let you know. Another site I've been posting on someone has told me to use the SONY ECM-M907 when recording sound on a minidisc recorder - I've had a look around and it seems pretty good from the reviews I've read

yeah I think it does look similar. I cant remember now! haha! for some reason when I bought the camera with the "buy it now" option the images immediately dissapeared!

I was wondering how do you guys go about deadening the motor sound when shooting? Have you all got your own little systems or is there a more recognised way of doing it?

I've had a better look around this board now at past questions. What I seem to have picked up is that 18fps is not suitable for a project that I wish to be anything more than an amateur home viewing effort.
