filter for Halogens
Hello,
I shot some K-40 inside with Halogens lights. I don't have any tungstens. Anyway, as one might expect the color wasn't what I wanted. It was too yellow. Can someone tell what filter I should use to get more realistic color?
Thanks

Getting back to the original post, I found out why the film was so yellow. Here is the expanation. The last paragraph was particularly helpful:
Yes, the yellow color is probably caused by the daylight filter. Normal halogen light should have the right color temperature if the filter is off. If the ...

Well I did a test with some Plus-X where I lip synched to a song that was converted to twice the speed of the original (for example, 4 minute song in 2 minutes). It was a bit hard to hit the words dead on and must be impossible with a fast song. This is a ballad though so I believed I got pretty ...

lip synch at 36fps
I was thinking I would try to lip synch to a song, but I want to get that slow mo effect that some music videos have these days. I have a computer and I was thinking it could work like this:
Shoot at 36 fps (with a Chinon 806 SM)
make the song run at 50% or twice as fast (on the computer)
and lip ...

This isn't London, but it may help. I've used Ebay and bought 2 super 8's, but there seems to be some nervous folks there in regard to international sales.

Good luck.

Kodak online orders
I'm not sure if anyone got this email, but I thought I'd post it. The last paragraph is interesting.

I shot an roll of K-40 indoors with halogen lights (1000 watt). As most of you probably know it came out a bit yellow. I'm not sure if it was the absence of other colors or over-saturated yellow. Anyway, I do a lot of computer editing and was wondering if I'd be better trying to restore the "natural ...

I have done it with Media 100 and AfterEffects. The footage was transferred from a projector to Video Camera so the results were not great. If your footage was transferred frame by frame, you'd be much better off. Depending on how slow you opt for, the results will obviously vary. There are only so ...
