About this takeup reel...Do U wind the film back and does it stay in the camera? Or do u take it out with the film? And use the empty top reel again as takeup reel?

A sucker is born every minute

The entire quote is "There's a sucker born every minute...and two to take 'em." The source of the quote is most likely famous con-man Joseph ("Paper Collar" Joe) Bessimer. Barnum's fellow circus owner and arch-rival Adam Forepaugh attributed the quote to Barnum in a ...

That Filmo's a worthless POS, so just send it to me and I'll make sure it's disposed of properly. By the way, what do you suppose that dial on the back of the viewfinder is for?

I don't think that is a nice thing to say. I've started this posting to get soms info over Eclair. Not to start a ...

You could just set it up in the corner and admire it - shout "action!" now and then, when the mood strikes. Only an idiot would do that though. ~:?)
Only if u use a clapperboard when u do that..otherwise it would be weird

So..to sum up a few post's...and correct me if I'm wrong..

Panavision is more than a cameraname...It's also a format(Cinemascope)....wich Panavision had the rights to...
So if they want to shoot in Cinemascope they had to use Panavision camera's due to the whole rights issue..

So it's something ...

Bolex, Filmo, and K3 cameras are wind-up MOS cameras that give very good images, though you wouldn't want to try sync sound with one.

The problem with those cam's it that they are not reflex...Got a 70DR...buth I don't want tro try filming with it...due to the paralax problem and the fact u can't ...

Just throwing in my nickle..

Altough I didn't read the whole tread and maybe this has been said a hundred time..Film will be here for some years...Unless we can finally have a digital replacement for that gives us the same 'feel' that film has.

There is a reason why lot's of series and movies are ...
