reflex - yeah, they kept touting the size of the CMOS sensor. It's a hair bigger than a super 35 frame. but then, they never disclosed any details of the shoot, particularly the fstops.
christoph - dyslexia kicked in, their codec scales it down to 27Mb, not 72, virtually loseless. the onboard flash ...

BB - The first half of the video was more damage control than anything. There were supposed to be two cameras covering the show - one of them crapped out for the first minute or so. I had the shutterless camera with me, so we just shot some broll that we hoped we could mix in. I tried to cheat as ...

New Music Video Shot on Super 8
Really wanted to put super 8's aesthetic to use, so this band, Awesome Color, was the perfect choice. They've got a late 70's/garage rock sound and are produced by Thurston Moore. Counterpointing aesthetics are good, but sometimes they compliment each other so well, that you gotta marry them.

I will second or third the recommendation of getting a mac. I'd only recommend a pc editing system if you could muscle up the cash to get an avid. For as much as I hate it, Final Cut is a hobby editor's dream - all the capabilities of an avid (give or take) that's software based. Plus, there's no ...
