Muddy..As you said , Fuji has not said they will keep producing or not.
But, I think that mean they will keep producing film and developing as well.
They say..they has to invest money in changing(repairing) machine(this was direct reason why they dicided to stop single 8 .)
And now. they change ...

Is it safe to Blow inside the film gate? There is a dust.
I've got my first s8 developed film. (telecine).
So happy with that.. :o
But I found there is a dust on my film.:( (canon 1014 xl-s)
I can't see thru the viewfinder when I was shooting.
Maybe, there is a dust inside the film gate. (Is there glass inside the gate?)
I always did blow inside the ...

Is it safe to load used film again?
I'm rolling camera with b/w film at the moment.
If I want to use colour film for a moment ..
Is it safe to take b/w film out of the camera and load colour film..
and then use that b/w again..?
This is my first 8mm shooting.. and I think catrige prevent film from light.
Is it right?
Thanks..

Bigger film format have more shallow depth of fileld ..is it right?
Because we can get same screen frame size with more long focal lens?

Can I get a proper measuer with Internal light meter?
Or if I use external light meter.
and if I want to get a little bit underexposed interval single frame sunset or sunrise shot ..(kodak tri-x)
How is it to measure sky ...

Does your 1014xl-s has Light loss by 1/3stop?
I have tested with my canon 1014xl-s to measure lightloss of my camera.
Internal exposer measure and exterior exposer measure.
It looks like that 1014 xls lens is almost 100% f-stop linear over the entire zoom range. (over 40mm...the lens has a little light loss.)
