Thanks - it looks a much better size and shape than the bags in my local camera shop. Does the 561 sit fairly snug inside, well padded? If you have a digital camera handy and it's not a nuisance, perhaps you could post a photo of the camera in the bag, to give an idea of how it sits?

Best bag or case for Nizo 561m

Hi

I have a Nizo 561 macro which I keep in the light leather case it came in. I'm looking for a more rugged bag for it - something like a foam padded camera bag - but having some trouble finding one as it's an odd shape compared to modern cameras.

The 561 is a popular super-8 camera, and I guess ...

Is there a page missing from this, between the 12th and 13th pages? Section on speeded-up filming at end of 12th page seems to be missing a whole load before it continues on the 13th page. Only noticed now as I try to get to grips with time-lapse stuff.

The only explanation left is: Voltage peaking...
Or wrong measuring...

Merman, are you shure these bulbs are realy blown out?

I'm fairly confident in my measurements, but physics was never my strong point and it's a cheap digital meter, so it's possible.

I don't have access to an oscilloscope ...

Hi

Thanks for all the swift responses - I've had another poke inside today.

It is 8 V AC and not DC - I was on a measuring frenzy last night and must have got confused, so apologies Janne for the misleading reply. The motor runs on DC but that is changed after it's come off the transformer ...

8V DC off the transformer where the wires come off to go to the lamp/switch. That's as it should be, yar? It's actually 8.1 V DC but that seems reasonable to me.

Hanimex Projector Problems

I was recently given a Hanimex SR 8600 projector which projected beautifully for a few days (apart from a tendency to chew film while loading). I got it out a couple of days ago however, and it blew the bulb as soon as I turned it on. I ordered two replacement bulbs and tried one of those, which ...
