This is from the HBO site--It's a boxing promo--I haven't really figured out if they shot it with 35mm or video with effects added later in editing.

Some logic surrounding X-ray inspections of films ...

I was thinking of ordering it by air mail but what you guys are saying makes me a little worried that it will be treated poorly...I'm going to be in the US in March--Is it possible to have them shipped to my motel so it waits for me when I get there??? Has anybody ever done that??

I think of buying some unprocessed K40 rolls and have them shipped abroad.Anyone think this is bad idea due to the fact that airport x-ray would damage my film or have you guys experinced otherwise?

One more thing,you all refer to silent films right , that you can add a soundtrack to them,but what about originally made s8 sound film,can my projector produce sound from them or can it only deal with silent film with an added soundtrack?

Angus,what did you mean by no K40,no spoon??you can still get K40 if you really want to through all kinds of dealers right?

I have a FOCAL XL-303 which according to the manual that came with it takes 25/40 ASA & 100/160 film speeds.

Should I even try EKTACHROME 64T with it or just go with K40?

Anybody knows where I can buy s8 film in Vegas and where to develop it while staying there?
