Why do I never see Plus X or Tri X for sale on E-bay

Plenty of Kodachrome. But never any cheap B/W S8 film. Why?

Try Yale in North Hollywood, CA. Good people and fare prices. Super 8 and Regular 8 film and processing. If you no longer have a projector, have them develop your old film and put it on VHS as a test roll. Very cheap (about $30 for processing and transfer).

RGB Rocked!

I spent hundreds at that place. 'Don't know of another outfit that packages kodak cine film in still film cartrages. I did countless film test using their service back in school.

And making contact prints from neg film, then making up slides for only a few bucks... you just cant beat ...

Kodak Gold 200d (consumer 35mm still film) of boxcars and other train-related stuff. I need some source material for a portrait I'm drawing.

Hardly related to filmmaking, but at least I'll be doing something creative.

My Elmo Superwide just arrived!

Last week I won an auction for an Elmo F20 S-XL Superwide with a bid of only $105. It showed up today and looks brand new! Still in the plastic and Styrofoam packaging. It even came with the original instructions, carrying case and two conkin graduated filters.

And they aren't kidding about the ...

thanks for working the problem guys. Yest its ASA/ISO that I was wondering about.

There's got to be plenty of members with this camera. Someone should know what film speeds this camera reads.

Great video!

Very cinematic compared to most music vids. I have no idea what the guy is singing about or how it ties into the gothic setting, Christian symbolism, or the flying saucer, but you did a good job matching the feel of the music with the look of the piece.

Keep up the good work.

That will help a lot.

Nizo 801 Owners Manual?

This has probably been asked before, but I didn't find an answer.

Does anyone have an owners manual for the Nizo 801 that I can download or you can e-mail to me? Please...

What film speeds does the 801 read?

Same questions for the ELMO F 20 S-XL SUPERWIDE camara.

Thanks,

Steve

Dynatran Tripods from ebay?

I need a tripod for my new S-U-P-E-R W-I-D-E Elmo F20. (Can't wait till it gets here!)

I see that Amvona sells tons of nice looking Dynotran tripods on e-bay for very cheap. The photos look good and the e-bay "reviews" are positive.

Do you guys know anything about these tripod/drag head combos? Or ...

Adding a W/A adapter to a 9mm lens?

I'm looking for a cheap W/A setup... On e-bay there are plenty of 514XLs. And I just saw a Canon C8 W/A Adapter (.65X).

The Canon 514XL has a 9-45mm lens.

The question is, would the effective focal length of a 9mm lens coupled to a .65X adapter be 5.85mm? Or is there another way to figure this ...

Glad you enjoyed the photos.
