I'm trying to assemble a B & H filmosound 8 kit. This was released around 1969 and comprised a tape recorder, linked up to a camera. How have members cleaned up the drive discs on Eumig machines? Just got a S910 which is fine once running, but needs help starting (by turning the inching knob)

I ended up getting my money refunded from Paypal. No responses whatsoever from Single8film.com. Seems a shame. AND I'm still awaiting the return of a Single 8 film from processing supplied by them. Anyone know anything?

Will this camera read the Fuji Sing-8 stocks now newly manufactured: 25N & 200N? What speeds of Single-8 film were available a few years back, when Single-8 was in it's heyday?

Thank you for your reply. I ended up putting some spray oil on the shaft between the shaft itself and the plastic part where the take-up spool is mounted. This cured the problem perfectly!

I have had a careful look; the rubber roller which presses the film to the capstan (shaft with the flywheel at the other end) keeps slightly hesitating. Plus, I think it could exert a bit more pressure on the film. How do I fix this?

Many thanks for your replies. I took off the back, and there is no belt connected to the soundhead flywheel. The flywheel itself is totally free (no binding) and the projector is extremely smooth running and clean. The main drive belt is also in first class condition. The same film which shows ...

The camera reads 64T as 40 ISO. Best thing to do is to re-notch the cart to 160 ISO, then use the "+" setting to open up one stop.
