what about the iscorama 42? i think i remebering reading it had a 62mm thread which would be good considering thats what im looking for. but im sure they're rare or expensive as well. ill have to research that out as well.

is this just too large for widescreen and will create a lot of vigentting or are there any anamorphic lenses that will do the trick and still give a reasonable amount of zoom without vignetting?
