help.....scoring my film
I'm trying to take a music track from a cd I own and use it for my home vid. But everytime I try and capture the audio it says it is protected. I paid for this cd and I want to use the music any way I see fit. So, any suggestions on how to do this would be sweet.

Linux? Stable for editing?
Hello, I was thinking of trying an alternative operating system for my pc. So far I've seen linux. Does anyone use, or have experience? I wondering if it's easy to install and worth while.
Thanks

Beaulieu! Who knows how to rig a battery?
I have a 2008. It does not have the traditional three leads. It has a positive nib in the middle and one lead in the side of the battery chamber. I'm no electrician, but I am willing to take a shock. So if anyone has some time to tell me how to rig a battery I'd be quite grateful. Thanks.

How do I develop super 8mm at home?
I can buy the chems, and the dark is free, but what about getting the film out of the cartrige? What device would hold it whle the chems go to work? And, how long would it take to get it from cartrige to canister?

Help me rig a battery for Beaulieu S2008 with one lead
I know all about the rigs on ebay for 70 bucks, but they're for the three lead 2008.4008. What I need is help with one. My Camera has a positive nib in the middle and one lead in the outter part of the steel circle.
