I have been a Regular 8 user for years but have used both formats. I prefer the regular 8 because it is more compact...my 40's era B&H Filmo Companion is indestructible, you can change lenses and filters easily...Fstop changes are a snap and flipping the roll is easy. No need for a battery.

Something tells me I better shoot the remain 100 rolls of S8 and Reg8 in the freezer this summer along with my K25 slide film.

Something tells me that K-14 processing is going to be dead in 3 years or less.

That will be the end of any archival films on the planet. After that it is just lousy E-6 ...

Ithink this summer I better start shooting all my 25 foot spools of K25 and K40 Reg. 8 in freezer. Might not be able to get Duwayne processing in 3 years if Kodak starts pulling the Kodachrome plug this summer.

Same opinions goes to all my K25 35 mm. slide film, also.

Kodak just wants to get out ...

I still have several Type G cartridges for EM-26 processing in Super 8 and went to my local Kodak dealer and their listing shows Etkachrome Super 8 processing yet for $7.69. Are they still processing EM-26 in Switzerland yet? I have been told that Yale in California is the only one doing this ...
