Fuji Film

While back I read the film "What Dreams May Come" was one of the only films to be shot in Fuji V stock. So if in the future hopefully comes in Super 8. Look and admire this film if you havent. :)

great films ya got

Really nice shots. what were the cameras used for the music video? And the short dream, real subtle editing too. This how you know Super 8 is still a good film medium. When there is good lighting. What techniques or lights did you use for them?

Nope, there isnt a walmart at all. Theres rumor to be an opening soon in manhattan. But the closest one so far is in Long Island and that sucks for me. So I suggest we stick to dwaynes mail in order for now.

Emulation of Super 8 on SLR

Anyone have a good idea how I could be able to emulate certain Super 8 conditions on my Olympus E-300 Digital SLR. I have a Canon 814xl-s no external meter yet. But I think the shutter speed at 220 degrees comes out at about 1/40th of a second. And the stock is about 40iso for kodachrome I suppose ...

How would the comparison between a 1014 auto zoom/e & a 814xl-s. Disregarding the obvious features. Also is the 814xls and 1014xls purely identical in image quality?

Yes. I appreciate all the info. I been reviewing cameras, and their manuals for a couple of weeks now. And believe I went with the greater choice. I was gonna go with the Canon 1014xls, or a Nizo for economical reasons. But something led me to a Beaulieu 5008 multispeed. I purchased one recently ...
