I agree that this is some of the best Super8 footage I've ever seen. I actually went back through this thread to see if maybe it was 16mm. The look was outstanding. My only complaint would be that maybe there was too much smoke in some of those shots. Otherwise, it's a great film. Bravo!

Does anyone know what camera he's holding in the On Set Photos for the John Vanderslice video? I can't tell.

EDIT:

I found it after some serious squinting at the pictures and comparing to stuff on ebay. For anyone else who wants to know its a Fed-4, a russian copy of the Leica.

Absolutely loved it! Big furry guys bludgeoning and cleaving each other. And all to a Sergio Leone - type soundtrack. Brilliant. The soft focus stuff didn't bother me too much. For some reason it worked for me. I want more. Give me more. Now now now!
