1.) See the internal filter go in and out of position within the lens (using the flashlight method).
2.) Reset the external filter dial to it's appropriate position ...

Thanks very much for your insight and explanation. I actually heard the same exact thing about the voltage being split between the meter and the motor from the gentleman I purchased the camera from. He also said not to worry and that he never experienced any odd exposure changes in the footage ...
