Hi,

you may try Chambless Cine Equipment.

Visit their web-site: http://www.chamblesscineequip.com/catalog/film.htm

They still offer EKTACHROME 7240 / 7250 / 7251 in single and double perforation (except 7251). Kodachrome 40 is unfortunately only available in single perforation.

I was very ...

It is what it is: an ordinary 8mm magazine film. Nothing unusual and quite common.

Search eBay for it (Cine Kodak Magazine) and you will get a lot results. Normally ;-)

Kodak and other manufactures produced many cameras for this cartridge system because it was easier to handle than to change the ...

Hi anthony,

The only prepaid processing mailer available is the PK-59 from Kodak.
What you have bought are not prepaid processing mailers.
They are only envelopes to send in process-paid film.
They are included in the box with process-paid Kodachrome 40 by Kodak.

The hint if a cartridge is ...

Excuse me, but this is completely wrong.

This is what Kodak says:
Why does KODAK want to reformulate the films, the developer and the bleach?
The current B&W reversal bleach contains hexavalent ...

Hi,

you have already mentioned the problem:

Cartridge is clearly Kodachrome II and price includes processing by Kodak.

Kodak doesn`t process Kodachrome II films for at least 20 years now because they require the old K-12 process.

Hi alan,

perhaps you could remind Eastman Kodak that they invented the "K-Lab processor" for process K-14 in 1997.

See http://www.kodak.com/global/en/consumer/products/klabs/index.shtml

It`s a small machine and uses improved developer solutions in special containers.
Unfortunately, K-Lab ...

It is quite easy to find out if the film has prepaid processing or not.
Look at the label of the cartridge.

I explained the following in a previous post:

The yellow "european" mailing envelope is only to send in the prepaid K-40 cartridge CAT 505 3335 and does not represent a value for prepaid ...

Hi Lunar07_,

I own the same machine. But I have never used it, yet.

To answer your questions:

You can stripe both regular 8 and super 8 films with the juwel "mini" 8 S 8.

Yes, you can apply main and balance stripe to the film with this machine. (super 8 only).

Hello cineandy,

last year I wrote an inquiry to the company

about a repair of an old photo camera.
I received a response within a week.

Hello mathis,

I made the same experience.
I had sent one cartridge directly to Renens, Suisse and I had to wait exactly 25 days to get it back.
In the meantime I posted an other cartridge to Kodak, Stuttgart and I received this one back in 11 days.
For german Kodachrome users I would recommend ...

I did not use the camera`s buit in 85 filter. The results were very different.
It depends on the type of neon tube used in the lamp.
Unfortunately, you cannot necessarily distinguish this with your eyes.

Because I don`t always trust messages like this, I have sent an email to Eastman-Kodak to confirm or to reject the statement that they will finish Vision2 500T color negative stock in Super8 cartridges.
Today, I received a response from Mrs. Heller from the Entertainment Imaging Division of ...

Machine processing of super 8 cartridges

The Kodak Lab in Renens, Switzerland does not open the cartridges.
The Super 8 cartridge was designed for machine processing by Kodak.
Therefore the K-40 cartridge has a film type processing notch. This notch is intended to prevent the mixing of different stocks at the processing lab.
That means the ...
