Super 8 Camera trigger question.

Hi,

I have got a Canon 814 Electronic and for some reason once I start shooting the trigger and then let go, the motor seems to continue to click round (therefore I think the trigger is broken, although it does not stay 'stuck'). Has anybody come across this with a Super 8 camera? If so, is it ...

K-40 Prices

Does anyone know where would be the cheapest place to buy k-40 carts? I'm based in London, and the cheapest I've come across so far is Jessops at £13:49.

The camera has a timer interval of 1/5/20 or 60. Its a Canon 1014xls. So I'm looking for 1 frame per second to get that motion look?

What do you mean by low frame rates? Would 1 shot a second be okay?

Thanks for that.

One last question on this subject, and that is exposure. Is it worth manual exposure or automatic exposure. If so, are there any handy hints, becuase I do not have a light meter at the moment (I do aim to get one) and I was wondering the kind of settings worth taking in to account ...

It's got an interval timer with an option of 1/5/20/60 seconds per shot. I want to film a sun setting for about 10 to 15 seconds (or likewise a sun rise). The projection should be 24fps. So for a 15 second sequence, what shoud I set it to. (a sunset is often for about an hour)

Time Lapse Sunsets

Hello,

I'm new to this forum, however I have been a keen browser for some years now. I have just bought a Canon 1014xls and I was wondering what I would need to do to try and film a sunset. I've got a rough idea, and I'm guessing there have been past posts, but I thought it would be good to see if ...
