16mm sound film transfer?
Hello folks,
Does anyone here have the ability to transfer 16mm sound film to AVI? I am thinking of maybe transferring some shorts (app. 7min. each) and would like to get an idea of the cost of the transfer.
Thanks,
Mark

Minolta XL401 and 64T?
Hello,
As a followup to a question I asked here a few days ago, Will a Minolta XL401 readily accept the new 64T film from kodak and expose it properly on it's own? I looked at the WIKI site that someone was nice enough to give me and it mentions that "all minolta autopaks" will handle the new film ...

What camera for 64t ?
Hello,
I have been wanting to get back into shooting my home movies on Super 8. Now I see in the forum here that Kodak is killing off K40. Well, I gues I am lucky in that I haven't invested in a camera yet. Anyway, more to the point. What camera will readily accept the new film 64t? Is there a list ...

I would suggest using DVD+r and setting the booktype to DVD-ROM. This can only be done with +r media. DVD-ROM is the same setting that commercial DVD's use and is the one setting that will play in all DVD players. As for the best type of DVD media, I would say Taiyo Yuden media is best. You can find ...

Andreas...I am intrigued by this idea of running the film in backward to avoid this problem. Could you expand on how it is done or refer me to a link on what steps are taken to achieve this? Would the film have to be played onto another reel, and then that reel is run through the WP? Are there any ...

Just a suggestion. Maybe too hard to try. Why don't you shoot in regular daytime lighting, then correct for dusk or nightime in post? I am sure there are filters available for such work for different NLE's. There is a scene in "The Notebook", where and actress is looking out over the water in the ...
