Hey all,

Thanks to the help of an archiving friend, I was able to reconstruct more than 10,000 further images and pages of the long lost super8data.com site. It's still not complete yet, but way more complete than my first attempt of recontructing it from public archives.

I have basically made the same experiments a while ago... manually in PS, which was quite cumbersome. I realized that I had to find the density vlaues of Y and M new for every film... the results differed big time. Unfortunately I failed in automating it.

Unfortunately you are hoping too much, yes. At least all the stock Agfa Mortsel has is PE based -- some very interesting materials, 40/80/200 ASA BW and also colorneg films without a mask. I can't wait to cross process them :)

I pulled it one stop -- not so much of an improvement. However, it looks really good @ 200 ASA. Grainy, but wonderful grainy (i Prefer its grain much more than that form E64T). Color Saturation is more on the mellow side, but perfect for mixed light conditions.

The shadow detail is like 8-fold better when projected.
Yes, 16mm will come, probably even first. I have two rolls 16mm 2R here that I'll go and try on the weekend.

I gave 1-stop-pulling a very quick test with my first test stock, bit there was no great gain wrt grain. This is a vague first impression though only -- defeinitely should be tried out further. Fact is that Push/Pull is rather exepnsive for most people and thus I focused on testing "standard E6 ...

Avichrome 200 D has way more contrast and saturation than VNF had. It is less vivid and more grainy than E100D, but in a wonderful way. You should see it projected -- I can't describe how much better it looks there! Most amazing is that there seems to be *always* enough light and also that the color ...

I don't have a telecine machine, but could film it of the wall. Not too meaningful probably, but maybe it gives a hint. It looks fantastic when projected.

Awesome -- I just was referred to this by a friend, somehow hadn't see it yet. The funny thing is that I spent the weekend with the same idea. :)
