I agree with you Paul. The problem is getting those films. However, Fuji does sell un-perforated 35 mm film. That's what I was told. I'm trying to find out where to get it.
If I can't get that, then the only logical choice is to go to standard 35mm film and re-per it and cut the three stips of ...

The ideal solution would be to use 5 inch unperforated production films and get more strips of super 8. However, it's getting it, that's the problem.

Their machines don't do 5 wide rolls, only 16mm film. That's what they told me.
That is why their prices are so high.
If I build a machine that will take the wide production rolls of film, then I can produce far more film at much lower prices per foot than any one else. I can actually make cheeper ...

I'm not out of the game yet. I plan on looking more into the perforator idea. It's begining to look like that is the only logical way to make film cheep. I mean .15 cents per foot would be right on...don't you agree?
