Filmshooting

Having checked, cleaned etc on my projector, I still have the problem with the frame line about 2/3 down the frame to get a stable image. The rotating adjustment knob is fully wound in.

Is the fact that when I unwind the knob, I get the frame in the right place but a jittery picture telling me that ...

Sorry to sound thick, but I am a complete novice to cine, I work in the pro-video market.

I assume the loop restorer is the lever above the first sprocket?

As for checking tightness etc, sorry wouldn't know what should and shouldn't be tight and wouldn't know where to lube.
