It should. Here's a funny thing: mine won't run on rechargeables, only regular alkaline disposables.

I don't understand - how do the perfs help? Do you mean mean it would align the entire frame into the same position in relation to the perf? Pretty neat if so.

Also be careful not to apply too much o-ring grease. Apparently, too much can cause flooding. Rub it between your fingers before applying it to the o-ring.

Yikes. That's good to know.

Just to continue here because I don't want to start another thread, my PMA is scratched up a bit, nothing to ...

Thanks Rollef! I'll go try it in the tub. I guess there's no point in keeping it anyway if it won't work underwater!

Testing a nautica

I recently bought a Nautica off German ebay, but all the manuals are in german (of course). After looking about, I can't find an english one online. But I'm wondering what I should look at, or examine before I try submerging it in water for the first time.

Is there any way to test it to make sure ...

What I'm wondering is how people usually frame for 16x9 in Super 8. I've found a half-assed solution that might work with the Leicina, where you switch between two of the viewfinder screens about half-way, giving you lines centered at about a 2:1 ratio. This might screw up focusing though, haven't ...

For the EE switch I've thought of using velcro to make a latch to lock it with, with a bit glued on the switch, and a strip attached to the camera above it, but I haven't tried it.

Funny, I was just having this problem today, but it was come and go. Is the button not supposed to pull out at all? It's always done that on mine, and sometimes the cable release makes a machine gun noise as it's running.

Mine does this as well. Not to hijack, but has anyone tried one of these add-on handles?

Sticking M42 lenses in manual...

Hi,

I just bought some cheap M42 mount still lenses for my K3, some of which just have the pin in the rear without a switch for manual. I'm thinking about super-glueing them down for permanent manual controll, but I'm not sure it will stick. I don't plan to ever use them in auto, so if I could ...

I liked your DVD. I think the films got better as they went. The earlier films were somewhat incomprehensible to me, but interesting. The discarded body was my favourite film, and I think your next short looks even better. Looking forward to 06-07
