85B between camera lens and Isco54

I'm shooting 7217 with a 814XLS and an Isco54 anamorphic lens in daylight this week. I only have a 85B filter for the camera lens (62mm filter thread). Is there any "problem" in using the 85b between the camera lens and the Isco? Any difference between that and using a 85B filter on the Isco (95mm ...

Oh, I saw this film here in Vancouver at the Vancouver Film Centre about two months ago ... (there were just me and 5 or 6 other people in the cinema). 35mm print. It takes a few minutes for you to get used to that Super-8-blown-up-to-35mm look but once you get past that ... at least, it happened to ...

you can send Uli any wishes and i am sure he modify the calculator for every format which is missed in his version of the film calculator.
Then you simply can use the calc on his website.

Oh ok, thanks Andre. I'll send him an email and take "my version" down (actually I've been using his ...

I use this one here:

http://www.cinematography.de/filmruntime_calc.php

It's simpler but fast and easy to customize, so you can add 8mm support yourself. I downloaded the source code, translated it into English ( I think ... or downloaded an English version .... don't remember) and added 35mm-2 ...

This is pretty sad. I just saw "Wild Strawberries" and his work was beautiful and spare. I thought he was around the same age as Bergman... I guess not.

Actually "Wild Strawberries" was photographed by Gunnar Fischer with whom Bergman had work in a number of movies in the 50's. When Bergman ...

I know a place in NY that does the S16 upgrade on the Arri S but I think it's a "little bit" expensive. $4750 ...

Hey Rick,

I just wanted to say I got the DVD last Monday and watched it yesterday. Very well done. I was impressed not only by the image quality but by the story as well. I'll be recommending it to some friends.

Anyways, I wish you good luck and hope you sell more DVD's.

There's a place in Australia that does this conversion on the Arri S.

It costs $AUD3550 and that also includes a new hard front ( PL or Arri standard lens mount )

Talk to Bruce McNaughton from Arandafilms or visit their website:

There's another place in NY called ...

I've sent several rolls of 16mm to B&WFF and they've always done a great job.

The only thing tho I don't understand is why they charge extra 5 cents/ft to process S16 ... wasn't it supposed to cost the same as regular 16mm ?
