Re: 16mm shot on 50’ magazines
I notice on a previous posting about letting Retrocine load your mags. Well certainly with this simplified method that is not necessary, but on the Retrocine website they say that they clean and lubricate all magazines before loading. A small drop of watch oil followed by a mop up with tissue could ...

Re: Introduction and a Kodak 16mm magazine project
I am going to try it too. So far I have loaded a magazine with 50ft of white leader and it runs very well. Advantages are that it is easier to load and takes a good 50ft of film and only 1ft of lead is needed whereas over 2ft is needed when threading in the conventional way. My only concern is that ...

Re: Introduction and a Kodak 16mm magazine project
Phil, I don't know if turning them upside down would be o.k., but I met someone who had converted a magazine and he said that the grooves would have to be cut. Let me know how you get on with removing the capstan. I used a pair of tweezers and a small grip, but of course it is important not to ...

Beaulieu R16 light Meter
Can anyone advise me what batteries to use in the light meter of this camera. The spring on mine is quite corroded so it may not work. If it does work, how do I use it? Thanks - Dave

16mm magazines
I have been trying to re-commission my old B & H 16mm camera again, but the availability of only single perf film is a problem. I have explored several avenues but come to dead ends with all. Does anyone know how to load the magazines with single perf film or know how to convert a magazine or ...
