I don't know how the 501 drive works, but the Mk Series have a friction drive "gearbox" by moving the driving wheel to a different radial point on the driven wheel. There are two of the driven wheels as the motor is tilted to one or the other for forward or reverse. If you have this type of drive ...

Hi Matt, I don't know the eumig 501 but I'll try to help. All projectors I've seen that have 2 or more speeds like that will either have a belt that shifts between pulleys or they do it electronically like a modern lathe does. If it does it with pulleys maybe the pulley is loose? Does it also run ...
