D.o.F Vs Brightness/Exposure

Hi.

This is a very basic question. And at the moment hypothetical.

If im filming outside with only available light and I want wide shots with a huge depth of field along with close ups with practically no DOF, will I end up with a major difference in brightness on the finished product.

I havent directed myself yet but have been in charge of comedy events music etc. From working on shoots I reckon a basis on which everyone knows the score from the beggining is the key, and save that then some time out and give a friendly peptalk, but stress the need for dedication.

I havent seen enough 8mm films,

does anyone know where i can download any 8mm shorts using media player. (i cant use any other program, i'm not allowed to at work)

what unxetas said is what I meant, whith a media which is very HEY! YOU! WATCH THIS PROGRAM...ITS KERAYZEE!, moore perhaps has to sensationalise to get people to listen to something he feels is important.

In the UK thats not as necessary.

I tend to agree with michael moore's gist, but think he tands to be quite sensationalist. (however looking at the quality of the news broadcasts in America, it's maybe possible to see why he is so)
