Re:

Karl, I think its more than just the arm- there are these 2 little dots/mirrors inside the main lens that I assume reflect parts of the image into the VF. They could I suppose be being refelcted from the VF so they look like they're in the lens.
Anyway, I'm a bit of a hoarder, and having never ...

Should I shoot with a Regular 8 Sankyo 8-CM camera?

I was given this camera. It is one of the Standard 8mms that is slit after being processed.

Sankyo 8-CM is the model. It has manual f stop adjusting, reflex viewfinder and the two D mount lenses are very high quality.

However, is it worth spending the money to order film and process it?

The ...

Filimo 16mm camera powered motor rewiring question

I have a question about a Filmo 70 camera electric motor.

A broken XLR power connector is featured on mine. No big deal as no modern XLR will fit on it anyway. However, I want to solder a new connection to the wiring to get it working.

As shown in the below photo pins 1 and 2 are wired. Which is ...

Re: Who still offers single & double perf 16mm DAYLIGHT spoo

But if you shoot it at asa 200 (and they push it 1 stop), it turns out just fine.

Your footage has some kind of abnormality in it. Is this part of the ...

Who still offers single & double perf 16mm DAYLIGHT spools??

Hello,

It is almost summer and I am getting ready to shoot my first rolls of 16mm.

I am looking for color in both single and double perf 16mm.

Who offers 16mm these days?

I see Orwo lists them but having it in stock seems to fluctuate.

All the film I will be shooting will be outdoors or a well ...

Question about antique lenses and fungus.

I am having a heck of a time finding a 25mm lens for my various 1920s thru 1930s 16mm Cine Kodaks that do NOT have a slight fungus issue inside the lens.

There is no way of taking these apart to clean them (I tried).

What effect will the slight haze have on the processed image?

Slight out of ...
